La Casa de Maria Retreat and Conference Center has hundreds of California live oak trees on its 26-acre property.  Many of them are over 100 years old, and some are not in good condition as a result of lack of proper care over the years.  Rick was recommended to us for his expertise, and has now been working on our trees for over a year.  We have found him to be a very conscientious and skilled worker and very passionate about the proper treatment of oak trees.  Rick rarely uses a chain saw, preferring instead to use hand tools to remove dead wood from the trees.  He analyzes each tree carefully, keeps the health of the tree as his first priority, is conscious of aesthetics, works quietly, and educates us in ways to improve the health of the trees.  Our trees are very important to us, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have discovered someone whom we can trust absolutely to give them the best possible care.
